I am concerned that they might sign Branden Rodgers. His offensive splits are bad. He doesnt hit much outside of Coors Field and I read that his defense is below average. They might as well give the job to Peraza or Cabrera in that case.

I almost got to meet Lux a couple of years back, but he got injured and missed the event.

Since (in my opinion) MLB made us do it, the stupid Sweeney trade so tgey coukd finally clear two 40 man roster spots weeks after announcing they signed both Joe Kelly and Ohtani but had yet to put them on the roster, so how about Lux and Cartaya for Hamilton, Effross, & Jackson?

I'd still go for Arenado if he wanted to come to Yankees and St. L. would kick in some money. Bregman is too many years. I dont think his righthanded bat would play well in YS, especially after the first few years.

My guess is that if the Yankees are looking into someone like Lux, Arenado or Bregman aren't in the budget.

Totally agree. What about Arraez, Lowe, McMahon.?

I think Arraez's defense is a real dealbreaker at second. The others are great, but are they available?

If the Yankees want to get someone better than average in infield, they will have to part with a good prospect or two. I would do that for Lowe or Arraez or Donovan who may or may not be available. Even Diaz if he can play 3B.

Not much of an upgrade. They need a stonger offensive player. Arraez, Donovan, Branden Lowe. Ryan McMahon? I like Profar's bat, but he hasn't played infield in years.
