McMahon grew up 15 minutes from here and would be a good fit defensively.

I sure wish Cashman had a trade up his sleeve for a 3B. We always seem to fall short in at least one position. I was against a trade for McMahon as he strikes our a lot and offensive stats for players coming from Rockies are always suspect. When i saw he batted lefty, i thought maybe 25 homers at YS and .240-250. Alec Bohm batting average higher. I dont know much about their defensive attributes. My wish would be to somehow trade for Brendan Donovan but have no idea if he is available and what he would cost but i would definitely be willing to give up some good players/prospects for him. Finally, Arraez definitely can provide on base ability ahead of Judge. He would also cost some good prospects but i am tired of holding on to prospects who never amount to much. Donovan would be worth it. Maybe Arraez a bit less. Are any of these guys available? I always liked Peraza. He might turn out to be good offensively, if the Yankees were willig to stick with hime for 2-3 months of consistent play. Also, why do I keep reading that Yanks are close to signing Tanner Scott when they have such a glairing weakness at third and bullpen is heading to being strong.
