But now that they are set to release him and save that money, it isn’t likely. It’s really too bad that Peraza’s injury wasn’t apparent earlier, because Gio Urshela would have been the perfect choice. The reason he picked Detroit over NY was promise of playing time. With Peraza’s injury, he would have had a clearer path here in NY but we are 2 weeks too late.
