I agree and with the improved Yankee offense, it should translate to more wins this season. I could see the team upsetting Baltimore who had a lot breaks go their way last year.
It's worth noting that I have the Jays pretty far behind the Orioles and Yankees in position players. Combine that with these rankings and the Yankees look like the most well-rounded team in the division. The Orioles are still competitive, but are probably behind the Yankees in both pitching and hitting.
They were also only a 94 win team based on Pythagorean record last year. Some of that is due to a stud bullpen, but combine that with xERA differences and you have a team that looks more like a 90-92 win team rather than the 101 win team it was last year. The Yankees still have a lot of ground to make up, but not 20 wins.
