Interesting list. But you left out Chase Hampton. I think if you put Cunningham in,..... Then I'd put Herring in over Beck. Outside of one start, Herring has been DOMINANT, so much so, without that blip, one could argue he should be moved up to AA this week. He's been very similarly dominant as Drew Thorpe was 2 years ago. But I have issues with Riggio. He's played almost since the day he signed, and I'm not sold on him really having the skills to get anything then a cup of coffee in the Bigs.

When I see Hess and Lagrange, I see two guys that could easily with their stuff and demeanor be future Closers. At some point when they keep finding all this pitching, taking a couple of these guys and train them that way would be smart. Is starting them once a week really a better learning tool then 2 or 3 times a week out of the pen?

But my most underrated healthy prospect is LHP Kyle Carr. I think they thought he would follow in the footsteps of Warren, Thorpe, and Hampton - guys started in High A and end up with about 10 AA starts. But he literally laid a very stinky egg the first half of last year, but from last year's MiLB Break, his ERA in about 27 starts is about 2.35.

Though I stopped being a prospect hugger a few years ago, I still wouldn’t trade Jones, Schlittler or Lombardo for a rental. We may have to settle for IKF. McMahon doesn’t hit much out of Coors Field. Arenado on a on a steep offensive decline and too expensive,
